A home in the very heart of the Mallorcan countryside
In the very heart of an oak grove surrounded by greenery, we find this restored house that preserves the traditional essence of an authentic Mallorcan house.
In the very heart of an oak grove surrounded by vegetation and forest, the full restoration of this house has been completed. It has been adapted to the present-day and to the new current construction and technological techniques, whilst preserving the traditional essence of a Mallorcan house.
The elements that make up the restoration are local materials, such as the earthy colors for the facades, the stone from nearby Binissalem, natural oak interior doors and lacquered cabinets in neutral tones. All this has been achieved without losing sight of the conservation of its surroundings. The interior distribution was completely changed, giving a twist to the rooms so that the house forms a transition with the outside through wide and open spaces.
On the outside, several areas were created (including a barbecue area, a pool area, a covered living room, an outdoor dining room, a relaxing chill-out area, among others) where its inhabitants can enjoy nature during different hours of the day. In short, the aim of this pastoral project was to give importance to the mimicry of the colors of its surroundings and to recall the past that this house represents.
