When the Mediterranean breathes in Moorish airs
A refurbished project located in the north of Mallorca with sea views which combines two very special yet odd styles, the Mediterranean with Moorish elements. A house full of surprises! - At EPIC we always want to give our clients the best results, so the owners of this beautiful building wanted to fully appreciate the sea views and adapt the restoration to its surroundings as much as possible. Undoubtedly, this spectacular project, located in the northern region of Mallorca, has great views of the Pollença’s bay.
The large terraces and surrounding vegetation, with a swimming pool, make it a perfect spot to enjoy the vistas. Two distinctly different styles merge in this most-interesting construction. The exterior shows the very purest Mediterranean essence with traditional stone walls of the island and blue shutters, reminiscent of traditional Greek colors. Meanwhile, the interior plays with different Moorish elements, such as Turkish travertine floors and mosaics in the bathrooms, giving rise to a completely original and surprising work.
The extraordinary house was designed to suit the client, clearly defining in style and aesthetics, who decided to opt for the mixture of different finishes, both traditional to the local Mallorcan and Moorish elements, whose ancestors would have stepped on these very lands.
