Where light, stone, and design shape a new Mediterranean experience
In the north of Mallorca, EPIC built El Vicenç de la Mar: a five-star boutique hotel rising from the remains of the old Hostal Maiol. A project of over 5,400 m² that blends contemporary architecture, sustainable practices, and Mediterranean soul. The façade alternates The façade alternates ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems) with dry-joint stone masonry, while the interiors feature granite, porcelain, technical vinyl, stucco, and custom carpets—creating warm and refined atmospheres throughout. Anodized aluminum carpentry and a continuous iron sheet staircase give the structure cohesion and character.
A signature visual motif inspired by opus roman pattern connects floors, closets, privacy films, and lighting fixtures. Technical lighting by Delta Light and bespoke decorative pieces by Magnus add harmony and identity. Smart rooms, geothermal climate control, a spa, gym, cinema, library, four outdoor pools, and two signature restaurants make El Vicenç far more than a hotel—it's a space where construction becomes emotion.
